Do this. Do that.

“Do this. Do that. Which one? Gasp!”

I’ve been into a multitude mode of thinking about what topic to pursue for my thesis. I guess Anthony Robbins is right in saying that what might help me is this “It’s not knowing what to do, it’s doing what you know.“. Doing a research work entails so much of my time tinkering about the best topic that I could think of. Later, I realized I already ran out of time to do the most important things such as writing a beautifully crafted manuscript plus other projects. Not to mention of course my other vital roles in life…

I think I am settling with the topic that I know of or that is close to my heart. I am still debating over the other topic, but given the timeframe that I have, it would be impossible to do so.

Anyway, I needed to get over this crap. As Anthony Robbins says, “You always succeed in producing a result”. I have to get going, get writing even when my mind is not set to do it. Otherwise I won’t finish anything. This is the price that I have to pay for being a perfectionist. I don’t settle with something less until my mind is exhausted and until there is no more time to do so.

But I have to produce it…now. May the force be with me.
