NO WAY you can put Mau Marcelo down….
The so-called issue on the First Philippine Idol robs every osseous tissue out of my body. What’s the truth behind this? I don’t entertain gossips, but no way I would let this issue pass.
I got this news from Pilipino Star Ngayon, which I quote as follows:
Anoha?
My 2 cents worth:
- Why did it take so long before the issue came out? The search for Philippine Idol started six months ago. There were also other grand finalists from Star for a Night who joined the Philippine Idol.
- Why this sudden brouhaha? For sure it wouldn’t take a night (the Big Night at the Big Dome) for those concerned to recall that Mau (has or has no) contract with the other channel.
- Considering that Mau’s the first runner up in the Star for a Night contest, why was she never given a project? In fact, she wasn’t even made popular unlike other first runner ups of other singing contests like Sheryn Regis, Christian Bautista, etc.
- Now that Mau’s proclaimed as the 1st Philippine Idol, why the sudden uproar of this issue against her?
- This is a big crap. Getting the crown away from Mau will make our country a laughingstock! Guys, don’t make that happen, ok?
Hay naku, Noypi talaga.

if that is true,i hope it isn’t, those idiots should stop their crab mentality. mau deserves this break, tama nga, di nga nila binigyan ng shows si mau, kahit public introduction lang.
*shakes head* we should support Mau, not pull her down. however, the fact that the “writer” of that article ay galing sa isang tabloid lamang and has no credibility whatsoever says much about the truth of the matter hehe. i think its fake… hope so.
Leave her alone, she deserves everything na kung anong meron msya ngayon. pls be considerate!!!
Absolutely i agree kaya walang asenso tayong mga pioy pilit nating sinisiraan ang taong paangat.Kaya MAu be strong and conquers all odds!!
Lets all support Mau and forget the past
Mau its your turn to shine go go go no one cant stop you
Mau its your turn now to shine go go go
hello, FT! thanks for stopping by my blog.i hope the news about Mau’s contract with Viva isn’t true. nakakalungkot naman kapag nagkaganoon. pero hindi maganda tingnan for Viva. Viva should have sounded the alarm when Mau was first seen on TV as a Philippine Idol contestant. What were the people in Viva thinking? Na kapag manalo si Mau, they will come out in public at kukunin nila sa Mau dahil gumawa na siya ng name on her own even without their help? And if Mau didn’t win, hindi na nila pakikilaman si Mau tulad ng ginawa nila sa kanya when she became runner-up in Star for A Night (kung totoong may contract nga siya kay Viva)? Nakakalungkot at nakakainis.
@ a know knee moose: true, there was no public introduction made about her. so now they are trying to ride on the issue and on the fame of Mau.
@ berg: meron pa ring crab mentality..eto na nga ang isang example. i hope too, that this issue is fake.
@ gengen & smilyn: Kudos to Mau!
@ rose: he he he
@ bea: I agree with you. Re: Catanduanes, malungkot pa rin daw doon - no water, electricity, enough food and construction materials. 90% devastated daw doon sa amin. Sad.
@ sa lahat ng sumusuporta kay Mau! - Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!
Thanks for visiting my blog.. I have a lengthy reply to your question which I will just post on my blog but here’s the short version — I think Mau deserved to win (just as Jan and Gian did — as I said in my blog, they are all deserving. Why was the issue raised just now? Timing.. this is a business decision.. Why did they not give her projects despite the management contract? Some record companies sign up “competition” and “kill” or put their careers “on hold” to push another talent. (So bands/talents beware of being signed up.. they might be signing you up to control you while they push another group.) This is all news to me.. Whether they take the “crown” away or not, Mau is a winner.. but there’s the issue of being truthful.. hmmmmm…
Only Mau knows what the truth is…
@ dinna,
thanks for your insight on the issue. yeah, you’re right - business, that is…
I thought Mark Bautista was the runner-up?
@ cheese
am not sure, got no idea actually. Viva says it’s Mau. hmmm.
grabeh talaga ang pang-aapi ng viva kay mau kung totoo man yan. if she indeed was a runner-up bakit hindi sya kasama sa pictorial with sarah geronimo. alalang alala ko yung picture na yon dahil wala si mau… how come mau was not in that picture when in fact she had more powerful performance than sarah yet she was not even a runner-up? other runners-up in that picture were mark, jason, florie mae, musica and angeli mae. now tell me viva, why was mau non-existent in that photo if indeed she’s a runner-up? di kaya takot lang sila dahil nandito na si mau to outstage their sarah?
@ rasta,
he he. u’r right!
dear hello,
thanks for dropping by…
What do you think?
