Undergarments 101
A must read…for men and women.
Please make it a habit to wash your just purchased undergarments before wearing them. This is sensitive. Our undergarments are made in different parts of the world, sit in boxes and go through many hands and exchanges before we purchase them for ourselves.
PLEASE WASH ALL BRAS, UNDERWEAR AND OTHER CLOTHS WHEN YOU BUY BEFORE WEARING THEM. WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT PARASITE IS IN OUR CLOTHES WHEN WE BUY THEM.
After anthropologist Susan McKinley came back home from an expedition in South America , she noticed a very strange rash on her left breast.
Be sure you’re not eating before you
Nobody knew what it was and she quickly dismissed it believing that the holes would leave in time.
Upon her return she decided to see a doctor after she started developing intense pains. The doctor, not knowing the exact severity of the disease, gave her antibiotics and special creams. As time lapsed the pain did not subside and her left breast became more inflamed and started to bleed.
She decided to bandage her sores however as Susan’s pain grew more intense she decided to seek help from a more certified doctor. Dr. Lynch could not diagnose the infection and told Susan to seek the aid of one of his colleagues who specialized in dermatology whom was sadly on vacation. She waited for two weeks and finally was able to reach the dermatologist.
Sadly, a life-changing event was about to unfold during her appointment.
To Miss McKinley’s surprise, after she removed the bandages, they found larva growing and squirming within the pores and sores of her breast.
Sometimes these wicked creatures would all together simultaneously move around into different crevices. What she didn’t know was that the holes were in fact, deeper than she had originally thought for these larvae were feeding off the fat, tissue, and even milk canals of her bosom.
FORWARD TO EVERYBODY YOU KNOW.
P.S.
I don’t know whether this email, which circulated in 2003 (but I just received it earlier today), is true or not as there are some sources on the Internet claiming such email is a hoax. But then again, let’s all be reminded that washing our undergarments or any clothing is definitely a must.
There’s this related video (be warned that this video is so disturbing) wherein a Nigerian woman is being treated for the Tumbu fly larvae that infested her breast.

i also receive this email sometime ago and i really do not know if it’s real or not, but the picture really, really stays in my mind and by just imagining that it’s moving, anak ng tipaklong, kinikilabutan ako!
it has been my habit to wash them first whenever i bought a new shirt or pants and more importantly underwear.
true or not, it’s just hygienic to wash newly purchased underwear. in fact, for panties, the doctors advise that we iron the part that is directly in contact with our private parts, that way, whatever bacteria or germs that are airborne or those fungi that get in contact with our underwear are killed.
i had goosebumps when i saw the picture!!!!!!!! myged!!!! whoo. natuliro ako sa nabasa at nakita ko.
Its my habit to wash the new clothes before wearing on it. Anyone who are fitting the garments in the store, yes, surely, you can get a lot of bacteria.
Thank you for sharing these tips FT.
kinilabutan ako dyan!
buti na lang nilalabhan ko pa mga bagong damit namin bago isuot. salamt sa paalala lagi ko yan gagawin.
and i was too. grabe.. kinilibatun ako sa picture.. katakot..
Pero we do wash our new clothing, lalo na syempre ung undie..
naku, last weekend pa naman bumili ko ng shirt kasi wala ko masuot *wala ko sa bahay*.
katakot talaga… naiimagine ko ung uod eh.. antaba! tas gumagalaw sa brest.. :((
ateeeee… natakot ako sa pictureeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee huhu. ito ung kinkwento ng teacher ko.. and i said to myself.. ok i get the picture.. and i told my teacher “maam don’t send the email to me!” haha.. but here you are posting it here. scarrryyy. naku ayoko na panoorin ang vid.
ewwwwww! i received an email like that years ago. tinataasan ako ng balahibo!!!!! the picture will forever be etched in my mind…. ewwww!!!!!!
it’s a good thing that i always wash my newly purchased undergarments, shirts, pants, socks, skirts…
It looks like the image has been edited quite well but an edit nevertheless. (aka photoshop job)
Guys let’s also be vigilant to remind our wives, gf and family members to wash new clothes. Also this will sound a bit naughty but I think this is also important that couples should wash or take a bath first before kissing or doing the thing. Just a reminder, it’s for the best
Before I forget, if you can’t get away with ukay-ukay clothes make sure that you wash them thoroughly hehehhe
hi zherwin,
did you see the related video? I just posted it the other day. the thing was moving! katakot.
hi sexy mom,
thanks for remindin to iron undies. that’s what my mom has been telling me, too, eversince i was a teenager. i also followed her advice to separate the washing of undies from my other clothes.
-D
hi fia,
yay! like you, i could hardly swallow my food after i saw this pic. it continued to linger in my mind…even after several days.
this serves us a reminder to wash our newly purchased garments before using them.
hi raq,
ur welcome.
what you said about fitting garments in stores made me think…it’s true that in fitting garments at stores, somebody may have already fitted the garments before us..i could just imagine the transfer of bacteria from the origin of purchase, to the shelf, to the customer, and so on.
hi mousey,
totoo, nakakapangilabot ang pic lalo na yung video. napanood mo yung related video?
hi cai,
he he. i think yung nasa pic ay patay na ang mga uod kasi black na. unless, digitally manipulated..
pero yung nasa video, arrgh, genuine daw yun. di ko kayang tingnan.
hi tina!
he he.. scary no?
lalo na yung nasa video.. i read that there’s also like this case in Zimbabwe…
hi jho,
yup, we really should wash our newly purchased clothes. when i was young, i once used a newly bought garment which i did not wash prior to using it, yay, felt so itchy afterwards…
good thing, i immediately changed my shirt and i did not develop strange rashes.
hi lord matt,
it might be, but still the story is a reminder for men and women alike to never forget washing newly purchased garments for health reasons.
the video is real, i think.

he he he..
precisely, i think it scares me to try fitting clothes from UK… should be washed thoroughly first with hot, boiling water..no, just enough to kill bacteria.
Ughh!!
That is one nasty infection.
Although I am skeptical as to whether it was photoshopped it convince me to wash any new cloth before wearing them.
Ugghh!! I can’t shake that image off my mind.
Ewwwww….I am completely freaked out now…ack!
hi propolis,
same here. it may have been photoshopped, but the image was forever etched on my mind. that’s a good reminder somehow to wash our new garments.
hi target="_blank">jenny,
yup, that’s a scary post indeed. true or not but it serves as a reminder for men and women alike to wash new garments prior to wearing them.
cheers!
