Belated happy 2nd birthday, Fingertalks!
This is just a quick post. I am not yet back to my regular blogging here.

I remember the day I “gave birth” to fingertalks.com. I was so ecstatic to register this UNIQUE domain (shameless promotion, huh). The first year of Fingertalks was full of surprises for my talking fingers. ‘Fingertalks’ was my sounding board back then. During my stint at the academy, this blog had served as my sounding board when I needed some fresh air away from my studies. I BLOGGED MORE than I STUDIED. In fact, in the past, I couldn’t study unless I was able to blog. Good thing, the grades were…purrfect. lol.
I failed to greet ‘fingertalks’ a happy 2nd birthday last April 12th, so bad of me. I just realized it awhile ago when I saw jake’s latest post in my commentluv plugin. Thanks, jake.
Ugh. So, I forgot to celebrate fingertalks’ 2nd birthday. How did that happen? I remember last year I prepared a grand birthday celebration for fingertalks. Anyhoo, I can observe that in real life, there is something special about first year commemoration (of whatever occasion), isn’t it? Then, the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th…celebrations just feel the same. Then, we feel ecstatic again when we hit the 10th year anniv, 20th, 30th, and so on…
But still, I feel lucky to celebrate (although late) the 2nd birthday of my talking fingers. Am glad that I am still talking here. I thought I wouldn’t reach this stage here - 2 years - because of the countless times that I have deserted my blog. I am thankful for the many friendships I have formed here, for the kind words you shared with me, for taking the time to let your fingers talk as well, for the moolah I got from blogging here, and for the charity projects that were sustained by the moolah.
My wish for my talking fingers is to talk more…and to gain and keep friendships for life, to gain more money from blogging to build more projects-for-a-cause.
To all fingertalks’ readers, visitors, and friends , a heartfelt gratitude for making my two years wonderful, exciting, and productive.
I will soon be back to my regular blogging and bloghopping…and yes, my pending tags and memes.

Congratulations on Fingertalks’ 2nd Birthday! I did find your blog name “Fingertalks” quite cool and original when I first came across it about a month or so ago.

You may also use your own keyword related to my blog.
2. You need to put at least two (2) anchor links for those keywords linking to my blog and one link to my Literary Blog site: http://makoysliterarywritings.blogspot.com.
3. If you’re done with the post, leave a comment to this post so I could get back to you. Make sure to drop your PayPal ID.
4. After your review to my blog, create a unique slogan for my site. I might include that slogan in my blog header.
5. Submission of entries will end by April 30, 2008.
6. Winners will be announced on May 7, 2008.
