Wake me up when October ends
I've been totally neglecting this blog. No. It doesn't mean I don't visit this site once a week. I do. In fact, I have been visiting this site, trying to make up some decent posts; but, each time that I try to write one, I feel the urge to keep my fingers from «talking». I am afraid I would «talk» more, non-stop. It's been my «problem», really. I really am the talking fingers so my fingers do talk a lot whenever I have the time to blog. I didn't see this entry coming. I just visited this site because I am sort of taking a break from my mental activities. For two weeks now, I have been exhausted - working almost 13-14 hours a day. We got a deadline at work so I am making my contribution to the most of my ability. Yes, multi-tasking. I have to congratulate myself and my baby in my womb for being so flexible and adaptable to the situation. Oftentimes, I would feel guilty for my baby that I work really hard. But I promised myself that as soon as this project is over, everything would be back to normal. God willing. Anyhow, the reason for writing this post is not to rant about my being workaholic, next to my husband.
Wake me up when October ends. Duh. I only have written two entries for October. The first entry was written on the first day of the month. I got a lot of ideas to write during the past 29 days, however, I saved those moments for myself. Joking. Those moments were preoccupied by nausea and vomiting although they have become lesser and not so frequent. But just the same, I wasn't in the mood to blog. My mind was off to finishing my work assignments until late night. Glad that I have prenatal vitamins, iron, and calcium to supplement me and my growing baby.
The reason I am writing this post is because I am making sure that I could still write. Haha. I knew I love to write. I love the twirl of words in my hands. However, with so many activities to attend to, I could rarely make a decent story. Not that I am an avid story teller. I am an avid reader of stories - romance stories. I am not sure if this has something to do with my pregnancy hormones. I learned to love reading romance stories. Since books are so costly here in our new residence, I tried to discipline myself from buying those books. So glad to have a stable Internet connection. I read online novels. I think I already have read four or five online novels. However, because I am pregnant, I think my eyesight is not at its best capacity. I could hardly read small letters. Damn. In fact, as I write this entry, my eyes are getting blurry. Hmmm. I think it really has to do with my pregnancy hormones. In the past, I could read and type small letters, but not these days. Anyhow, this will pass. I feel more excited everyday and look forward to meeting my baby...soon.
Three months ago, I was thinking of writing some story books that my baby could read or «see» starting from 0 age (how's that possible) up to the time that my baby becomes a toddler. However, since I am still so preoccupied with a lot of things at work, I set aside that idea. But I am sure that I will be making a good book for my baby. I am doing a lot of research on how to go about it. I am just waiting for the right time that my creative juices would flow so I could start writing my first book for my baby.
And now...I am also keen on writing another book. Haha. As I was saying, I had this fascination (lately) to read about romance stories. In the past, I wrote four unfinished romance stories - two were about me and two were sort of taradiddles - both were in English and Filipino. Hmmm. I thought that time they were good to read - oh yeah, according to my mom and sister. Anyhow, I wasn't able to finish those stories! I finished the first one, complete with drawings, cover, and it was manually hard-bounded by yours truly. It wasn't read by anyone. Too bad. I lost that book to termites in the supposedly new house that my sister and I were renting that time. Grrr. I kept the two, but they were so short that I could hardly add stories anymore. Hmm. I lost the other one, written in my native language.
I was searching for some online romance novels again to pass my time off as I take a break from too much hard work, but decided not to look deeper. I saw some romance sites and read some free stories there. I got hooked. I think that with my experience in writing some romance stories in the past, I could enkindle that writing spirit again! Why not? OK. Await for my stories. Let me try next month. Hehe.
See yah! Missed blogging and missed bloghopping to my friends' blogs. Forgive me for not being «online» these days. You know my case.

Welcome back to active blogging. We missed you a lot. Good thing that I was subscribed to your blog via email so that this post was immediately delivered to my email box. It's okay to concentrate on your job since you have a deadline to make. You can always make up for your blogging when your schedule are lighter. Hope you don't have more prenatal difficulties and you will have a very smooth delivery. I really want to read your short story if you can post it in your blog. I'm sure it will be outstanding. Thanks for the post. God bless you and your loved ones always my fiend.

Yes, eyesight changes during and after pregnancy. Your eye doctor could write you a new prescription for glasses - go see him (or her!)

It's November! And it is nice to know that you can write stories in two languages. Did you publish them already? Please share some details because I am fascinated in romance novels.
