What's Your Hidden Talent?

Your Hidden Talent |
![]() You are a great communicator. You have a real way with words. You're never at a loss to explain what you mean or how you feel. People find it easy to empathize with you, no matter what your situation. When you're up, you make everyone happy. But when you're down, everyone suffers. |
Agreed.
But, honestly, I think I have a lot of talents. Oftentimes, I would feel, «I'm a jack of all trades», but would hate to say master of none. It's defeatist. What I can say is that I excel in everything I do, whether I like it or not, whether it's my forte or not. But this quiz, What's Your Hidden Talent, really amused me as it revealed one thing that I love most - communication.
Try taking the quiz here and tell me what's your hidden talent. Were you surprised to know it?
Knowing where your talent lies, be it music, art, film, numbers, words, and others, is a good way to know what interests you. Knowing where your interest is would help you as you go along with your choices in life - college course, business to pursue, and, yes, finding and keeping the relationships that matter to you.
There are many times that we are torn in choosing which thing to pursue - such as in our hobby, course, business. These are the times that we are called on to try and fail and succeed. No road to success is easy. We stumble along the way while finding where we really are destined to be. Some people easily know where they should be heading in their adult years. Others wouldn't know until they are already in the bottom pit, just then would they start to get up. It doesn't matter how many times you have failed or fallen. But what matters is the moment you get up and rise above those circumstances. In the end, your happiness is the most important thing.
Oftentimes, multi-talented people have difficulty choosing where they wanted to be. They would be in situations, relationships, work environment that drag them everyday, but still they remain there because they haven't gotten over yet their comfort zones. Another thing is, they haven't found where their interest really lies. At these difficult times, look back where you have been through when you're just a toddler, a young kid, a young adult. What subjects interested you when you were in school? What hobbies did you pursue? What were your childhood dreams then? Try to soul-search. Take time to revisit those forgotten memories. You might be surprised to know that what you have been aiming for in life is just right at the corner of your heart - waiting to be tapped.
Grab a pen and paper. Trip down the memory lane. Plot your childhood life, your early adult life. If you arent' sure what to do with your life, even after knowing that you got the million-dollar talents right there in your head, don't worry. It will just spark. Just hang on and pray to God to guide you through. A detailed way to start finding your talent is by reading this article from wikiHow - How To Find a Talent. After finding that one hidden talent, which is really your calling, who knows, you might be the next billionaire on earth. hehe.

My friends usually say that I'm the person with talents but doesn't know how to and where to use those.
Well, I guess I'm still a bit stretched with the things that I am capable of doing. But as long as I see people happy around me, that alone says a lot.

You are obviously a strong communicator. My strength in communicating is listening. As my grandmother often told me, I was given two ears and one mouth for a reason.
